Background: According to reported research, spiritual intelligence plays an active role in individuals' mental health, and the effectiveness of students' tolerance threshold and resilience on mental health has also been positively reported. In the predominant culture of Iranian universities, there are no indigenous patterns and logic to explain the effective factors on mental health, thus the need for creating a suitable indigenous model in this area is essential. Aims: The aim of the present study was to propose a model for elucidating the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between spiritual intelligence and mental health among students of Tehran's Azad University. Methods: This study was descriptive and of correlational and structural equations type. The statistical population of the study included all students studying at Islamic Azad Universities in Tehran during the academic year 2022-2023. A multi-stage cluster random sampling method was used to select the sample, and a total of 685 individuals responded to the mental health (Goldberg, 1972), spiritual intelligence (King, 2008), and resilience (Connor & Davidson, 2003) questionnaires. Correlation analyses were conducted using SPSS software, and structural equation modeling analyses were performed using AMOS software. Results: Statistical analysis of the data showed that spiritual intelligence has a direct, positive, and significant impact on mental health (p< 0.05). Additionally, spiritual intelligence indirectly predicts students' mental health through the mediating role of resilience (p< 0.05). Conclusion: Given that spiritual intelligence is a trainable attribute, it is recommended that executives and stakeholders plan to enhance this attribute among students, thereby taking steps towards improving individuals' mental health. Therefore, it is necessary to create conditions for students to engage in discussions on life theories, death, and existence, pay more attention to non-material aspects (spirituality), and find meaning and purpose for their daily experiences.

Introduction: Human resources are the most important assets of organizations, and employees’ general health plays a decisive role in productivity. This study examined the relationship between job satisfaction and general health among employees of the Legal Medicine Organization and investigated the moderating role of personality type in this relationship. Methods: This descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study was conducted in 2018 on 314 employees of the Legal Medicine Organization of Iran. Data collection tools included the General health Questionnaire (GHQ-28), the Job Descriptive Index (JDI), and the short form of the NEO Five-Factor Inventory. Data were analyzed using SPSS and SmartPLS software through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results: The findings showed that employees’ general health was at a favorable level (12.8±3.1). Satisfaction with the nature of work (P<0.001, t=5.620), supervision (P<0.001, t=4.248), coworkers (P=0.025, t=2.246), and overall job satisfaction (P<0.001, t=3.542) had significant effects on general health. Personality type also moderated the relationship between job satisfaction and general health (P=0.015, t=2.434). In addition, job satisfaction significantly affected different dimensions of general health, including social dysfunction (P<0.001, t=6.338), anxiety (P<0.001, t=9.815), depression (P<0.001, t=11.073), and somatic symptoms (P<0.001, t=7.614). Conclusion: Increasing job satisfaction can play an important role in improving employees’ general health. Moreover, personality type, as a moderating factor, can strengthen the positive effects of job satisfaction on mental health. Characteristics such as conscientiousness and adaptability are among the most important personality factors in this context. The findings emphasize the necessity of considering personality factors in human resource management policies and in designing job improvement programs aimed at enhancing employees’ general health.

Background and objective: Promoting mental health and preventing mental health problems are important tasks for directors, officers and mental health professionals. This objective requires the establishment of information networks and systems enable efficient data collection and determining indicators of mental health. This study was conducted to determine the mental health Indicators in Iran.Methods: This study was performed based on Q methodology in six stages: 1) development of Q sample statements, 2) selection of participants (professionals in health and mental health) for the Q sort, 3) Q-sorting, 4) data entry, 5) statistical analysis (for the extraction of Q sorts, the principal components analysis method was used), and 6. factor interpretation.Results: Twenty-one indicators were offered in three categories: mental health status, mental health service and mental health system.Conclusion: This study was a preliminary study for identification of mental health indices that reflects the status of mental health in Iran. Indicators obtained in this study can also be used in regulatory reforms and policies, providing appropriate mental health services, mental health promotion, updates and measuring mental health information.
